The aims and objectives of our organisation are as follows:

 

• Respect the laws of our country and help the government by attending to the poor.

• Help and see that the less privileged ones are trained to have handwork

• Have mutual understanding, peace and unity in our society.

• Promote democracy and good governance.

• Promote human right, social justice and equity.

• Promote health and environmental awareness campaign.

Details of some of the activities to be funded:

 

• HIV/Aids awareness and education campaign in Enugu state generally.

• Spreading information about the dangers of high risk sexual behavours and encouraging people in this area to have safe sex through the use condoms or one sex partner.

The following have benefited from the project:

 

• Men women as well as boys and girls in Isiagu Ibagwa Aka in Igbo Eze local government area of Enugu state of Nigeria.

The geographical areas that we have covered:

 

• Isiagu Ibagwa Aka situated at Igbo Eze South and Ogrute in Igbo Eze North Lga as well as Enugu state capital territory is also included.

Cooperation with other agencies:

 

We are collaborating with other agencies such as Nike Youth Association. In addition to our work, we have a new partnership with Nike to provide a meeting place where a meeting will be held to discuss the best method to discuss how prevent the Aids virus.

As partners, we have applied to become a new vision in HIV/ Aids and related diseases prevention organisation.

 

What was achieved during the last financial year:

 

• We expanded our Aids peer education program to include support group for teens dealing with Aids in their families.

• We have continued to expand our immigrant youth safe program for 20 French speaking neighbours about Aids prevention.

• In addition, we received some help to work with extremely hard to reach population including out of school youths and ten parents.
